Senior QA Automation Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts in Python or Java. 
• Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman and Jenkins to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. 
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionalities and to identify test requirements. 
• Manage test environments, test data, and execute automated test suites. 
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless testing across all stages of software development. 
• Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and provide detailed reports for improvement. 
• Utilize project management tools like Jira to track and manage issues and projects efficiently. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of quality are covered in the product life cycle. 
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in QA automation and continuously seek to improve testing practices and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant majors. 
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with strong proficiency in Selenium, JMeter, and Jenkins. 
• Proven ability in writing and maintaining test scripts in Python or Java. 
• Experience with Jira or similar project management and issue-tracking software. 
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. 
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Certification in Quality Assurance or Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB). 
• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare) is a plus. 
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or automation tools.
