Job Description
· Strategic Planning: Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to optimise cargo capacity, enhance market presence, and align with overall business objectives.
· Revenue Management: Analyse market trends, pricing strategies, and demand forecasts to optimise revenue and cargo load factors. Develop pricing models and strategies that maximise yield and profitability.
· Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to forecast demand, identify opportunities for improvement, and make strategic recommendations to enhance cargo performance.
· Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cargo operations, revenue, and market trends to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
· Process Optimisation: Continuously assess and refine processes related to capacity planning, pricing, and route optimisation to enhance efficiency and responsiveness to market changes.
· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and other internal teams to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals.
· Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on cargo performance, revenue trends, and strategic initiatives for senior management and stakeholders.
· Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and market dynamics to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Job Requirement
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Revenue Management, Business Analysis) is a plus.
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in planning, revenue management, or business analysis, preferably within the airline or logistics sector. Experience in cargo operations is highly desirable.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools is a plus.
· Revenue Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in revenue management, pricing strategies, and capacity optimisation within a cargo or logistics environment.
· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data and strategies clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
· Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
