Job Description
SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
- Chief Operating Officer (COO) assumes a leadership role in building strategies, implementing, and overseeing all operations, business development and process systems.
- Plays a critical role in providing leadership, build up vision and strategies to ensure proper controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and necessary systems are in place to effectively grow the organization to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
- In accordance policies and procedures in overseeing design, enhancement, and specialized focus on the development of new business lines
MAIN DUTIES
1. Work with Board of Managements:
- Collaborate with CEO and other members of BOM to set and drive company vision, set up the goals, operational strategy, strategic plans for growth at Bitexco tower.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, regularly reviews and evaluates operational performance and productivity.
- Devise business strategy to drive sustainable growth.
- Manage relationships with external clients and internal partners; build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to customers, partners, clients, and board members.
- Oversee operations new business opportunities, implement market survey and propose the development of new F&B concept
- Provide leadership in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.).
- Prepare accurate organizational performance reports on a quarterly and annual basis and report to Chief Executive Officer.
2. Work with Operation:
- Leading the development of organization-wide growth strategies and business plans.
- Oversee and spearhead all of organization’s day-to-day operations and long-term business strategies.
- Analyze revenue, profit and cash flow opportunities of operations and recommend actions.
- Measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes.
- Control operation and new concept budget and costs, implement practices that work to prevent theft and other financial losses.
- Convey the strategic plan to staff to ensure support, modify plans in response to changing internal and external factors.
- Build a flexible organizational structure to adapt to the actual business situation.
- Motivate and lead a high performance management team, mentor direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase consciousness of the inter-relationship between each department.
- Manage and develop leaders to include selection, work allocation, training, coaching and mentoring, problem resolution, performance evaluation and feedback and corrective actions timely.
- Manage and organize training for management team and staff about management skills, upselling, promotion program to guests, connect and keep guest relationship.
- Oversee all restaurant’s operations and employee productivity, ensuring employees are advancement in their career.
3. Work with other departments:
- Assist HR in motivating and conveying positive messages to build an effective working environment, retaining employees, recruiting and training new employees accordingly
- Partners with sales leadership and teams to develop strategic sales plans based on organization goals that will promote sales growth, increase guest satisfaction, and increase the brand awareness of customers.
- Partners with Purchasing department to ensure effective purchasing activities.
- Partners with other departments in asset management and increase the efficiency of the entire company.
4. Other tasks
- Perform other tasks as assigned by CEO and the Board of Directors.
