Job Description

Main responsibilities

1.     Commercial Director will be responsible for driving, develop the commercial strategy and business development activities to meet the company’s goals, ensuring profitable & sustainable growth while developing a commercial presence in international markets. This role plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring overall commercial success.

2.     Strategic Planning:

·       Develop and implement the commercial strategy aligned with the overall business goals.

·       Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform strategic decisions.

·       Collaborate with other executives to align commercial objectives with the company's mission and vision.

3.     Business Development:

·       Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth and expansion from different countries.

·       Plan, design, develop different sales activities by understanding the customer's needs and requirements.

·       Cultivate and maintain relationships with international clients and partners to enhance business opportunities.

·       Drive the development of new business ventures, partnerships, and collaborations to expand market reach.

·       Develop a disciplined sales forecasting process to ensure the accuracy of sales forecast information for company use.

4.     Marketing Management:

·       Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for business growth and execute effective marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and market share.

·     Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.

·     Represent the company at conferences, trade association meetings, and exhibitions to promote the company & products.

5.     Product Development:

·       Lead the product development and research team in creating innovative and market-leading products.

·       Conduct thorough market research to identify consumer needs, trends, and opportunities for product improvement.

·       Make suggestions to improve the product based on the feedback received from the customers.

·       Foster a culture of innovation within the product development team, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new technologies and ingredients.

·       Stay abreast of industry advancements and technological innovations to ensure our product portfolio remains cutting-edge.

6.     Financial Management:

·       Set and achieve revenue targets for company, closely monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective measures as needed.

·       Develop and manage budgets for Commercial divisions, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency.

·       Develop/manage international sales & operating budget.

7.     Compliance and Risk Management:

·       Ensure compliance with international regulations and standards governing the food and beverage industry for both commercial and product development functions.

·       Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the interests of the company.

8.     Team Leadership:

·       Provide inspirational leadership to both the commercial and product development teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

·       Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and contribute to overall team success.

·       Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieve and monthly sales target and KPI target are met.

·       Perform other tasks as assigned by CEO.

Job Requirement

Knowledge & work experience:

·       Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade or a related field.

·       Min 10 years of experience in management level international business in F&B field and at least 8 years of experience in the same position or higher.

·       Strong knowledge of the global market, including regulatory frameworks, market access, and industry trends.

·       Multi-state operations management experience.

·       Understanding of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales.

·       Willing & able to travel.
