Job Description
Manage daily routine operations in Service Station as per company’s policies and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor inbound and outbound operations in meeting company’s service standards
- Monitor if inbound shipments arrive at Service Station and being processed for delivery by scheduled time
- Monitor if outbound shipments being processes and put on shuttle for lodgment on time
Monitor pickup and delivery operations
- Monitor couriers if they can complete pickup and delivery in accordance with company’s standards
- Give advise/instruction to couriers when they encounter irregularity issue
Train frontline staff with basic operational knowledge
- Provide training to new staff
- Advise frontline right operational knowledge in handling shipments
Manage stock and storage of operations materials
- Store operations materials properly
- Check stock regularly to ensure no shortage which may affect operations
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of Service Station
- Mobilize staff in Service Station to keep workplace clean and tidy
- Implement 6S management plan
Handle cash returned by couriers and store it in safe temporarily
- Verify if cash/cheque returned by courier has been accurately counted and recorded by Warehouse Assistant
- Store cash / cheque temporarily in safe
Follow up irregularity cases
- Check work order / email and keep close communication with Customer Service for irregularity cases related to Service Station
- Investigate root cause of irregularity and revert to Customer Service
Perform other duties as assigned by superior
Job Requirement
Knowledge and work experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Business Management/Logistics/Supply Chain Management
- Understand how to use operational equipment and fundamental knowledge of operational workflow in express or logistics industry.
- At least two years of relevant experience in express or logistics industry
- Basic computer operations skill (Office application)
- Fluent in written and verbal Chinese.
