Job Description
Monitor inbound and outbound operations in meeting company’s service standards:
- Monitor if inbound shipments arrive at Service Station and being processed for delivery by scheduled time
- Monitor if outbound shipments being processes and put on shuttle for lodgment on time
Monitor pickup and delivery operations:
- Monitor couriers if they can complete pickup and delivery in accordance with company’s standards
- Give advise/instruction to couriers when they encounter irregularity issue
Train frontline staff with basic operational knowledge:
- Provide training to new staff
- Advise frontline right operational knowledge in handling shipments
Manage stock and storage of operations materials:
- Store operations materials properly
- Check stock regularly to ensure no shortage which may affect operations
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of Service Station:
- Mobilize staff in Service Station to keep workplace clean and tidy
- Implement 6S management plan
Handle cash returned by couriers and store it in safe temporarily:
- Verify if cash/cheque returned by courier has been accurately counted and recorded by Warehouse Assistant
- Store cash / cheque temporarily in safe
Follow up irregularity cases:
- Check work order / email and keep close communication with Customer Service for irregularity cases related to Service Station
- Investigate root cause of irregularity and revert to Customer Service Perform other duties as assigned by superior.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Business Management/Logistics/Supply Chain Management
Understand how to use operational equipment and fundamental knowledge of operational work flow in express or logistics industry
At least two years of relevant experience in express or logistics industry
Teamwork and cooperative
Diligent, work under pressure
Attend to details
Supervisory skill
Concept of costs control and time management
Basic computer operations skill (Office application)
Fluent in written and verbal English or Mandarin an added advantage.
Present good personal image
